The
Presidential Candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammad
Buhari, on Wednesday promised to use the non-oil sector to boost
Nigeria’s economy, if elected.
Buhari made the promise in Calabar at a Presidential Campaign rally.
“Our main objective is to make sure that agriculture and other
non-oil sector get priority to give opportunities to every Nigerian so
that Nigerians, whether educated or not, will have gainful employment,’’
he said.
Buhari said his administration would also restore the lost glory of
education and address the problem of power supply to resuscitate ailing
industries in the country.
