Governor Ayodele Fayose
.As APC Raps Governor Over Stoppage of Adverts on State media Victor Olakiitan in Ado Ekiti
Governor Ayodele Fayose on Tuesday told the workers of the State to vote according to their conscience in the March 28 presidential and April 11 State and National Assembly elections.
Fayose said being a proponent of an apolitical and non-partisan civil service, that he would not openly coerce the workers to vote for any Peoples Democratic Party candidates in the forthcoming elections, which was a surprise to many of the workers who had expected him to campaign for the PDP, particularly President Goodluck Jonathan.
Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State on Tuesday blasted Governor Ayodele Fayose for allegedly banning all APC adverts and jingles on state radio and television.
The party insisted that it was illegal and tantamount to gross abuse of office to stop the adverts that were fully paid for by clients.
