Okigwe Senate Seat: Uwajumogu Best Man For The Job—group

As the February 14th race for the representation of Okigwe zone at the red chambers of National Assembly approaches, a youth group known as Network of Imo youths, Okigwe chapter has described the Okigwe zone senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress and the Speaker, Imo state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Uwajumogu, as the most experienced and qualified of all the candidates jostling to represent the zone.

The group, at the end of its meeting in Okigwe last weekend, called on the youths in the area to protect their future by ensuring that the right candidates, such as the Imo Assembly Speaker, were entrusted with public offices to bring about the needed change in the zone.
In a statement by its publicity secretary, Mr. Timothy Anozie, the group noted that the Speaker possesses the sterling experiences and required academic credentials needed to legislate for the good people of the zone, adding that his numerous selfless services and decorum were pointers that the Speaker would exceed the expectations of his people.
The group however, reeled out the Speaker’s biography as follows: “Benjamin Chukwuemeka Uwajumogu was born in the southeastern province on the 30th june 1965. He grew up in an average family background; born into the family of late chief Benjamin Uchi and Ego Bekee Leticia Chisarauka Uwajumogu of Umuediaba Umuihi Ihitte-Uboma. Benjamin got his early start watching his father grow their family business. It was in those formative years that he understood the gain associated with hard work and determination.
He got his earlier education at the Library Avenue Primary School Umuahia from 1970-1976 then went on to Uboma secondary school, Ikperejee. Etiti in Ihitte-Uboma Local Government Area of Imo State. He later finished up at Boy's High School Obube sometime between 1976 to 1981. Benjamin then traveled abroad for his tertiary level education; starting at the Alliance Francaise and University de Sorbonne Paris (France) 4th for language training in 1982. He was later admitted into the schiller International University for an Associate Bachelor's Degree in International Relations still in paris, france. His academic sojourning then brought him to the Unversity of New Jersey, Jersey City USA, graduated in 1986, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in political Science and Economics (Minor).
Today, he is blessed with a wonderful family; a beautiful wife Ellen Uwajumogu and their three lovely children. He is currently serving as the Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly, he was first sworn into the Imo State House of Assembly as an honourable member representing the good people of Ihitte-Uboma state constituency, and then later moved into the helm of the house leadership when he was made the Speaker of the seventh house, third Assembly.
In his immediate sphere of influence, Uwajumogu is determined and strives to pass those values on to their children who are his primary responsibility as a father. The group stated.
