Some months back, this magazine exclusively reported of how Oyo State first lady, Mrs Florence, Ajimobi live like an emperor who dictates what goes on in the inner circle of Oyo government. At that time, it was reported that the first lady perhaps would enter into the Guinness book of record as the most travelled first lady in Nigeria. For instance, shortly after her husband was sworn in, she tagged herself with the governor to embark on holy pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia in a manner that can best described as jamboree.

At last, that year of the sphinx, 2014, has rolled away, leaving all its survivours with bated breath! Not a few Nigerians wished that such a year should not have come up at all, though they could not foresee a better alternative in the succeeding year 2015, when the general election would hold -a year for which more gloom than boom has been widely predicted, but which cannot be skipped all the same. Those who wished 2014 away therefore should look beyond 2015 for succour, be it for political or economic bail out.

Arandun community drums support for Ajibola/Aluko

 It was a thing of joy for the entire people of Arandun in the Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State when the Deputy Governorship candidate of the People Democratic Party, PDP, Mallam Yinka Ahmed Aluko, joined the community to celebrate the 2015 New year Fiesta.

At the event which was witnessed by over 1000 members of the community as? well as friends from within and outside the state, Aluko assured that the incoming PDP government will draw governance nearer to the grassroot in its bid to ensure rapid growth and development.

Aluko who addressed mammoth crowd at the residence of the President General of Orisun Igbomina, Chief Gbenga Awoyale, expressed confidence in the ability of Sen S.S. Ajibola to delivered the people of the state from the 'persisting economic and political bondage' witnessed in the state.

Tertiary Institutions in Ondo Charge Least Tuition, Says Mimiko

The Governor made the affirmation in Akungba on Friday during the commissioning of the newly built Adekunle Ajasin University’s Senate Building which he described as “another of our legacy projects, which has become our trademark in laying a sustainable foundation for the development of our State".

Nigerian Army Has Buhari’s Academic Records, But He Needs To Apply

The director of public relations of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier Olaleye Lajide, has dismissed reports in the Nigerian media claiming that the army could not find academic records of General Muhammadu Buhari (ret.), the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Brigadier Lajide described the reports as false.
The military spokesman made the disclosure while responding to a text message from SaharaReporters seeking clarification about the status of Mr. Buhari’s records. Brigadier Lajide affirmed that the Nigerian Army is in possession of all records of serving, retired and deceased officers since its inception. He added, however, that all military officers are supposed to keep original copies of their certificates.
